Obsession 23

BACKGROUND

An annual event celebrating fine food and wine at the Michelin starred Northcote Hotel in Lancashire. Established in 2001, Obsession is recognised as one of Europe’s premier gastronomic events where guest chefs travel from all over the world to cook for guests across several weeks.

We returned to Northcote for the second year, to capture the longest running event since its inception; 23 chefs over 17 nights.

Our brief was to celebrate the energy, warmth and excitement across the hotel by delivering two films each day; one teased the chef that was cooking that night, and the other told the story of the previous night’s service.

Alongside videography, we also assembled a team to capture the photography for the event. Collaborating with Bacon on the Beech to deliver exceptional food photography daily, as well as Amber Banks to document the event both out front and back of house.
